This n8n workflow automates the process of extracting text and data from documents or images received via Telegram. When a new message containing a file (such as a PDF document or an image) is sent to a configured Telegram bot, the workflow is automatically triggered. The received file is then securely forwarded to AWS Textract, Amazon's powerful machine learning service for optical character recognition (OCR) and intelligent document processing. AWS Textract analyzes the document, detecting and extracting text, forms, and tables, enabling automated data capture from a wide range of document types. The extracted information, including raw text and structured data, is then systematically organized and pushed to a designated Airtable base. This provides a centralized, easily accessible repository for all processed data. This workflow is ideal for automating data entry tasks, digitizing physical documents, or efficiently processing incoming requests and information that arrive as files through Telegram, significantly streamlining operations and reducing manual data transcription efforts.
