This workflow automates the creation of Slack channels and user invitations based on new tasks entered into Airtable. When a record enters the "First Task - Create Task" view in Airtable, the workflow retrieves task details and associated user information. It then checks if the user initiating the task has administrator privileges. If the user is an admin, the workflow proceeds to create a dedicated Slack channel, invites the relevant user(s) to this new channel, and sends a welcome message. Finally, it updates the original Airtable task with the newly created Slack channel information. If the user is not an admin, the workflow sends an error message via Slack, preventing unauthorized channel creation. This ensures controlled and automated communication setup for new tasks.
